2018 BCABA & George Washington University Law School Annual Colloquium

Please join the BCABA and GW Law School for our annual Colloquium on June 7, 2018 from 9:00 AM-12:15 PM in the Faculty Conference Center at the George Washington University Law School, 2000 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.  This year’s topic is “Commemorating the Fortieth Anniversary of the Contract Disputes Act of 1978: What are We Doing Right, and What Can We Do Better?”  The panels will consider both the day-to‐day aspects of BCA practice, as well as some of the challenges and issues presented by BCA and appellate precedents as the CDA’s provisions and requirements have been interpreted over the last forty years.  Christopher Yukins (Professor and Co-Director of the Government Procurement Law Program, GW Law School) will chair the event, with Neil O’Donnell (Shareholder, Rogers Joseph O’Donnell) and Terry Elling (Partner, Holland & Knight LLP) serving as moderators.  Panelists for the event include: Judge Kathleen O’Rourke (Civilian Board of Contract Appeals); E. Michael Chiaparas (Chief Trial Attorney, Defense Contract Management Agency); Richard O’Keeffe (Attorney, Wiley Rein LLP); Judge Mark Melnick (Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals); Marcia Madsen (Partner, Mayer Brown); and Bryant Snee (Deputy General Counsel, PAE).

A copy of the flyer is available at GW BCABA Policy Colloquium 2018.  Please RSVP to Cassandra Crawford, ccrawford@law.gwu.edu, tel. 202 994 8689.
